This week I'm running some heavy demo testing on the BreakoutSentinel, AshFX II, and MyFutureBAT EAs.

I just wanted to let everyone know that great progress is being made with the AshFX, AshFX II, and PipNailer EAs. Most of the problems as of lately have been due to the addition of money management and the fact that what the EA starts with may be different in the background based on money management calculations. Basically it had a ripple affect on the way these EAs handled open orders and what needed to be done with them during certain stages.

Anyways, the good news is they are well on their way to being rock solid again and I hope to be uploading the newest revisions in the next couple of days. The latest demos I'm running are FXDD and Alpari UK with the same pairs and settings to match activity and how the EA performs with both types of brokers (the extra precision in Alpari).

I don't like to release panic revisions to fix bugs so I hope you'll forgive me while I get things tested 100%.

Well, today has been a very, very busy day. Actually this past week I've been combing through the code for potential problems and figuring out why EAs weren't placing trades on certain brokers (extra digit brokers). This was extremely time consuming but I believe it strengthened each and every one of the EAs. Believe it or not, the 2 greatest challenges have been integrating money management and support for brokers with an extra digit. They sound simple but each affects so many things that some areas needed a complete rework. Anyways, I've done some very intense testing and am continuing to do so on certain EAs as I wrap things up and I believe the EAs have all regained solid status as they were before those two major implementations.

As for new development... I've really focused on strengthening the existing EAs so that I can put them on the back burner and focus on some new stuff. I haven't forgotten about EAs like Crazy Pyramid and others and intend to start some new ones very, very soon. I am also very eager to get a beta going for the EA Data Analyzer. With all the new features and bug testing/fixing I've really been going through withdrawals from my demo testing. Another reason for not doing demos is because of the lack of time to report the results especially while making all the recent changes. So I'd like nothing more than to start demoing again.

I have been quiet lately but am working hard behind the scenes. I've been doing a lot of experimenting for the EA Data Analyzer program and the possibilities. I will keep everyone posted on the progress.

The client side application that uploads data and the server side application that dissects and insert information into my SQL server are now complete. Currently working on adding the logging code into the EAs.

Logging code has been added to all the EAs.

Just thought I should say something for those who are wondering...

I am making progress with the Data Analyzer site although it has proven itself to me that the task is greater than I originally imagined. I will complete the site but it's taking longer than I anticipated.

In the mean time, The database is growing with over 10,000 completed trades on a number of different Forex EAs (AshFX, AshFX II, RollerCoaster, PipNailer, MyFutureBAT, SynergyMethod, etc.). Some very solid results have been made showing profits with AshFX and MyFutureBAT. I'm sure there are others but this is just a result of me taking a close look at those 2 directly.

Please be patient, the EA Data Analyzer site will be completed and new EAs will be developed.

I think you have put a lot of attention into the DA as of late and I also think you have done so because you really think it will benefit the EA community as a whole. Thank you for your efforts. I know that participation on your site has gone down a bit lately and that may be due in part to the fact that your attention has been towards the DA as opposed to EA creation, support and development. I just want you to know that I believe in your talent, dedication and support so I just want to assure you that I think your efforts are not in vein. I am writing this to encourage you to continue on the path that you have chosen for your site. You are a talented programmer and you are not without knowledge of the forex trading game. You have always, and will continue to have my support.
